This is a nationally recognised and accredited course intended for individuals who have not yet gained employment in a veterinary nursing or animal care field. This certificate is also recommended for those who are volunteering in an animal care facility, senior school students or those wanting to get a head start in this popular and rewarding industry. Core subjects include preparing for animal care work and maintaining the animal care workplace. Students have the opportunity of 'specialising' after 4 core units by completing specific animal care, wildlife rescue or veterinary nursing subjects from Certificate II in Animal Studies RUV20104 in the nationally recognised Animal Care and Management Training Package RUV04.
This comprehensive course supports the student in gaining fundamental knowledge to assist them in entering their industry of choice. The Certificate I course fees includes learning materials as well as comprehensive information on resume writing, sourcing animal care employment and preparing for the interview scenario.
