Certificate II in Animal Studies RUV20104 is a structured tutoring program for nurses or receptionists working a minimum of 15 hours in the veterinary field and a have a Year 10 level education (or are a mature-aged student of 21+). It also may be possible to do this certificate whilst you are a volunteer at a workplace. Contact AIRC to discuss.
This Certificate is designed to support students in gaining basic skills to prepare them for their career in veterinary nursing. Subjects covered include general animal care and feeding, reception skills, pharmacology, professional excellence and legislation. The veterinary reception stream covers subjects such as reception skills, workplace relationships, delivering and monitoring customer service and organising workplace information.
