The Animal Industries Resource Centre (AIRC) has been delivering world class training to those in the veterinary, animal care and non-animal industries for more than 12 years. As a highly respected, privately owned registered training organisation (RTO), you will find our approach and results are second to none.
We provide comprehensive education, training and consulting for veterinary nurses, animal attendants and their employers across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong. While most of our students are veterinary nurses, the AIRC also trains those in the animal care, pet grooming, companion animal services, and native wildlife care industries.
The AIRC also incorporates Crampton Consulting Group (CCG), a service that supports animal care companies to excel in staff management, systems operation and customer service and communication.

ALERT: New Microchipping Legislation for Queensland
|
|
Ensure your compliance with the Animal Management (Cats and Dogs) Act 2008.
From 1 July 2009 you must undertake a course in the new microchip legislation and register for an Authorised Implanter Number to continue to purchase and implant microchips.
For veterinarians, the AIRC has an online course that meets the requirements of the legislation. More information is available here. NB Veterinarians who are A.V.A. members should check with the AVA website for courses available to them there.
Qualified Veterinary Nurses and qualified Animal Care Professionals may now become authorised implanters. See this page for more details.
