Certificate I in Animal Care Industry Pathways ACM10121​​

The Certificate I in Animal Care Industry Pathways (ACM10121) course​ is a great starting point for animal carers and young learners to develop basic animal care skills. This is an online course that takes approximately six months to complete. It’s not a prerequisite for later courses, but can help students get a foot in the door when applying for work in animal care workplaces.​

Certificate II in Animal Care ACM20121​

Certificate II in Animal Care (ACM20121​) course is for animal attendants and aspiring vet nurses who seek to start their professional qualification journey. This course takes approximately nine months to complete, and comprises private learning and practical assessment. Completion is a primary way to satisfy the prerequisite learning criteria for entry into Certificate IV.

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing ACM40418​

Completing Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (ACM40418) signifies you’re a fully qualified vet nurse. This course takes approximately two years to complete and enrolment criteria requires a completed Certificate II in Animal Studies (or equivalent), and at least 10 hours paid work per week at an animal care workplace or practice.

Diploma of Veterinary Nursing ACM50219​

The Diploma of Veterinary Nursing (ACM50219) course is an advanced qualification for qualified vet nurses to develop further practice specialisation. We offer elective choices in the fields of General Practice, Dental, Emergency & Critical Care, and Surgical.

Diploma of Leadership and Management BSB50420 ​

The Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB50420) course is a nationally recognised qualification for vet practice professionals seeking to formalise and develop their business skills and increase their people management proficiency. The course covers fundamental skills including: emotional intelligence, project management, recruitment and how to manage a team of employees.
